Oak Bay Light Up

We're kicking off the Christmas season in Oak Bay!

2 PM Family fun with a variety of crafts, activities, street food and entertainment.

- Write your letter to Santa and send it through a special direct-to-the-North-Pole mail box at the station.

- Planet Janet's hoop jam give attendees an opportunity to try hula hooping, learning the basics or trying new tricks.

- Practice your Street Hockey skills with Oak Bay Parks and Recreation

- watch an ice sculpture being created

- try the Winter Wonderland Scavenger Hunt between the Monterey Centre and Oak Bay Avenue. Plus crafts, hot chocolate and a photo booth at the Monterey Centre

3PM Live music - A Country Christmas with Daniel Lapp and friends

Count down the 12 Days of Christmas before Santa's arrival with Bill Murphy-Dyson

5PM The lights come on! Santa arrives on an Oak Bay Fire Truck to spread some Christmas cheer and to stay for photos and to hear Christmas wishes.

Santa photos at Engel & Volkers by donation to the Oak Bay Firefighters Charitable Foundation.

Food trucks in attendance include Greek on the Street, Kattia's Kitchen, Holy Cow Mini Donuts and Wilkie Wonka Candy Factory. Oak Bay Village restaurants are open for dining and take out.

Ottavio will again be roasting chestnuts
